Birmingham Salsa Marathon

Birmingham Salsa Marathon is a project that comes to you from the heart. It's about bringing great people together, in a great venue with great music. It's that simple.

If you are new to the salsa marathon concept, you're in for a treat! Marathons are about maximising the social element of dancing and making the experience as relaxed as possible. No shows. No performances. No crazy big workshops. Just friendly people who want to dance...preferably non-stop!

BSM is aiming to bring you something a little different: a love of great dancing and music combined with the best of British. You'll feel it through our selection of DJ's, beautiful venue, all-inclusive food, and a few personal touches to make you feel at home. Whether you're On2-curious or an On2 fanatic this is the event for you!

We've even spoken to the universe and have been promised that the sun will do it's best to shine so that you can, at the very least, get a glimpse of what England looks like when it's sunny and warm.

BSM opens on Friday 27th May at 18.00h and closes on Sunday 29th May at 18.00h, which means your pass includes a total of 45 hours of dance time! Need even more dance time? Well we've thought of that too! Included in the BSM full pass is a complimentary invitation to the BSM Afterparty, which means more dance pleasure 'til 1am.

We've selected 6 of our favourite DJ's to bring you a selection of the best music, and one of the most beautiful venues in Birmingham with the perfect dance floor.

Your food is included in the price*, which means you'll get treated to brunch, dinner and early morning nibbles for when you get an attack of the munchies after non-stop dancing...not to mention juices, tea (English breakfast of course), coffee and plenty of water just when you need them, so you can help yourself to what you need, when you want.

There will also be a bar in the chillout zone, so you can buy yourself a drink of something a little stronger if you fancy a break, or when your feet force you to have a rest!

It doesn't really get better than that, but just to make sure, we're adding some special British treats so that you remember why you came and why you'll be back the following year.
